Title and Summary

Specialist, Product Management Overview

As part of the Asia Pacific, Cardholder Services team, this role sits with the Billing Operations team, with a mission to deliver accurate and reliable billing services for the CHS business in Asia Pacific, safeguard billing integrity through strong operational controls, and provide value added insights that support our Cardholder products, including Airport Services, Travel, Insurance and Assistance. Role

• To analyze and respond to inquiries from other MasterCard support teams on billing related questions.
• To be the central point of contact to brief the billing team to set up Customer information within the billing system (Add, Change, and Delete) – and where required to execute that activity.
• To support on the briefing of and quality assurance on the Implementation of new Billing Events and Customer Specific Rates.
• Provide timely and accurate responses, while always putting the customer first
• To be the central point of contact with regards to any credit memo or manual billing calculations for CHS customers, ensuring that any such credit follows the process approvals per our corporate policy.
• Provide scheduled and ad hoc reporting analysis for internal and external customers.
• Maintain ownership of assigned activities, communicate status as appropriate, and maintain desktop procedures to support controls.
• Analyze billing data, identifying trends and revenue issues, and document follow up and resolution.
• Assist with ad-hoc requests, participate in special projects as requires, and provide cross-functional support as needed
• Ensure that all processes documented in the CHS Operational Excellence, target operating model is followed and reviewed with an aim of fulfilling our promise of continual improvement.
• Support the CHS team in engaging with the target operating model in relation to client fee and partner cost reviews, and implement any required changes, following target operating model and policies.

• Ability to see and understand entire end-to-end process is key
• Familiar with analytic tools, Power BI and an aptitude to adopt use of other proprietary systems - to manipulate and analyze data trends
• Ability to learn new applications and technologies quickly
• Understanding of risk management disciplines
• Must possess excellent verbal, written communication skills, organizational skills, team player
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment, handle multiple tasks, consistently meet established deadlines, and deliver exceptional results
• Must work well in a cross-functional environment
• Works well without direct supervision/works independently
• Good business writing skills and effective presentations skills
• Experience with transaction billing systems and finance industry a plus
