Title and Summary
SVP –Digital Transformation, Optimization , Strategy and Operations Lead for Core Payments Overview:The primary responsibilities of the Digital Transformation, Optimization, Strategy & Operations group within Core Payments, is to lead, develop & manage strategic go to market plans across core products, digital products & capabilities, network solutions and core payment services.
Key is to be familiar and navigate market dynamics, trends and identify current and future opportunities to grow and accelerate the Core Payments business tied to North America Regional goals and objectives. The group manages and leads strategic initiatives, product research and insights , product data & analysis , data modelling , P/L responsibilities, product pricing strategies as well as operational responsibilities such as business reviews & assessments across the Core Payments Group
Role:
The role is strategic , data and insights driven as well as responsible for effective GTM strategies to accelerate growth in key strategic areas like Secular Growth Acceleration, Optimization plans to drive the performance of existing product distribution, effective regional product pricing , business development support in areas but not limited to fintech segment and overall growth acceleration strategies
The role requires close interaction and collaboration with the Global Digital Transformation, Optimization and Operational lead as well as other regional counter parts for purposes of alignment , driving partnership, sharing and learning best practices to bring to the market effectively.
• The role is responsible for working with executive management with the region and globally, business units across the region to develop short term and long-term strategies that support expansion of our the Core Payments business and advance the competitive advantage for North America to grow, build, expand and diversify the business.
The role is customer facing to share trends , insights, strategies , participate and conduct workshops and drive thought leadership.
• Lead and develop effective communication and narratives internally and externally across strategy , data , market opportunities and business performance
• Provide overall thought leadership on new trends, opportunities to advance core payments innovation agenda
• Actively lead, coach and motivate team to foster development , skills and encourage outstanding results as well as build and maintain the culture of the group adhering to the Mastercard Principles of collaboration , creating impact and moving fast.

All About You
• Management Consulting and/or demonstrated deep experience in leading go to market product strategy roles in a matrixed organization
• Strong relationship management and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of financial services and/or payment industry
• Possess strong data analytical and modelling skills with demonstrated ability to generate actional insights and market accelerating strategies
• Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated executive presence and credibility
• Highly effective people manager with experience in developing people to their fullest potential
• Knowledge of industry data sources; familiarity with competitive intelligence methods and processes, research and modelling techniques
• Excellent presentation and writing skills with proven experience of having led and developed business performance review documents, business strategies and strategic narratives
