Overview
The Mastercard Payment Services (MPS) portfolio consists of national critical infrastructure, is under heavy regulation and has contractual customer commitments. As a result, rigorous control and oversight is required over releases, patches and configuration, for all technical assets in the Scandinavian data centres which form part of the MPS technical ecosystem.
MPS is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager with a strong understanding of release and environment management to take on the responsibility of end-to-end management of the MPS portfolio (RTP and Billpay). The person in this role will work closely with a large set of stakeholders to ensure excellent release planning and release management.
Role
As an MPS Technical Program Manager with specific responsibilities for release and configuration management you will:
Work closely with MPS Engineering teams, MPS BizOps and wider technical teams
Deliver strengthened stakeholder management and co-ordination around the changes, releases, patches, and configurations (internally and externally), particularly with regards to changes impacting multiple services and customers
Ensure robust configuration and release management for all hardware and software in the Scandinavian DCs, maintaining overviews of:
All teams maintaining and updating MPS assets
A comprehensive map of assets and versions
A comprehensive view of changes and activities (easy-to-read calendar)
Ensure robust release management for the MPS applications including Developer tool patches and upgrades (Checkmarx, Jenkins, Sonarqube, etc)
Ensure release tagging in Jira following development standards

· Experience with project management, operating autonomously across multiple teams, with demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
· Demonstrated experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning, and building
· Proven track record of data-driven decision making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams
· Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization
· Excellent organization, interpersonal, administrative, and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
· Capable of working independently but with a collaborative nature.
· Ability to navigate a matrix organization.
