Third Party Risk Management Specialist Who is Mastercard?

Overview
The Governance Risk and Control team (1st Line Risk) is looking for a Third-Party Risk Consultant.
Role
Risk Assessments: Responsible for performing risk assessments of suppliers and other third parties to ensure compliance with Mastercard's standards and help management understand and manage inherent risks.
Understanding Mastercard: Develop and maintain a working understanding of Mastercard's products, services, and activities, as well as third party risk management principles and practices.
Monitor Vendor Performance: Monitor the ongoing performance of vendors and suppliers.
Evaluate Engagement Requests: Evaluate requests for new or modified third party engagements and prioritize based on various risk factors.
Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with business requestors, Sourcing or Legal team members, and other TPRM team members to ensure a thorough understanding of engagements and associated risks.
Assess Adherence: Ensure and assess third party adherence to Mastercard's standards and contractual requirements by performing remote and/or on-site assessments.
Identify and Document Gaps: Identify gaps or issues based on Mastercard's third party standards and document them to enable other TPRM colleagues and business relationship managers to evaluate and develop appropriate action plans.

All about you
Possession of a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
A demonstrated ability to apply a risk-based mindset, continuously identifying and prioritizing areas of significant concern.
Proficiency in risk management frameworks and processes, with a preference for experience in the financial services industry and payment processing.
Prior experience in risk-related disciplines, such as information security, data privacy, business continuity, or vendor due diligence is essential.
A proven understanding and operational knowledge of GRC tools, including the ability to navigate, update, and perfor5m data entry tasks.
An acute sense of urgency coupled with a results-oriented approach, exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills, and a track record of building and maintaining pro6fessional relationships.
The capacity to swiftly adapt to changes, manage ambiguity with ease, and successfully execute multiple concurrent tasks.
A working knowledge of contemporary workplace productivity and collaboration tools, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Office 365 suite, including SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.
