Overview

The New Payments Platforms team is looking for a Vice President to drive our Mastercard Send strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about both domestic P2P and xborder P2P on card rails, creating partnerships and ecosystems that will motivate usage of Mastercard Send, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role

In this position, you will:
Develop Mastercard Send product together with market teams in various markets at EEMEA
Identify EEMEA regional strategy and develop customized strategies with country teams for individual countries.
Ensure right product features, platforms and economics are in place to reach aggressive growth targets
Partners diverse set of ecosystem players i.e financial institutions, telco's, governments, digital players, fintech's to develop various use cases
Monitor multiple projects and ensure timely execution both on technical and business aspects
Manage a large diverse team composed of highly motivated and skilled individuals
Work with global product teams to ensure not only global best practices, product features and know how is reflected in our projects in EEMEA but also EEMEA projects are shared globally.

All About You

The ideal candidate for this position should:
Have experience in launching, scaling Mastercard send or other card based P2P product in multiple countries.
Have experience in establishing partnerships with Telcos, fintech's, banks , digital players.
Have experience in business development and local platform development.
Have experience in design and optimization of product as well as customer economics
Have strong can do attitude and creative business acumen to overcome potential business problems.
Be a good team player and have experience in managing large teams in different geographies
Continually look at the market and competition to see what is happening and enhance our product and strategy accordingly.
Look for complementary products or services that can also help the customer and work with broader MC team to ensure right bundles addressing needs are defined
Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
Identify areas where resources fall short of needs and provide thoughtful and sustainable solutions to benefit the team
Be a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate our vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders
