Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

The role of Vice President of Product Management is a strategic leadership role driving the vision and execution of Mastercard's cybersecurity products. This role will focus on developing and implementing strategies, selling the product both internally and externally, and mentoring the team to achieve business goals, program objectives and individual career goals.

The role will involve creating new processes, fostering innovation, and ensuring Mastercard Cybersecurity products remain disruptive in the market. The role will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver market leading, profitable products that help safeguard the payment ecosystem.
We're looking for a visionary leader who is curious, thoughtful, and analytical, with a passion for payments, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and enhancing the customer experience.

Role:
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies that drive the vision and execution of our cybersecurity products.
• Product Advocacy: Sell the product internally and externally, ensuring alignment and buy-in from all stakeholders.
• Team Mentorship: Mentor and guide your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Process Innovation: Create and refine processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in product management.
• Disruption and Innovation: Ensure our products remain disruptive and innovative, staying ahead of market trends and emerging threats.
• Communication: Establish and maintain strong two-way communications with our go-to-market teams, customers, and partners. Manage and communicate product performance through dashboard reporting and metrics for multiple constituents.
• Support: Oversee the evaluation, piloting, and launch of new capabilities for your products.
• Risk Assessment: Monitor and assess risks of both existing and emerging competitive solutions, seeking to differentiate core capabilities, features, and functions to ensure consistent competitive advantage in the marketplace.
• Industry Understanding: Incorporate an understanding of the broader payments ecosystem into ongoing product management (e.g., regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment).

• Problem-Solving Abilities: You're adept at identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing them efficiently, which is crucial for addressing security vulnerabilities and improving product performance.
• Industry Knowledge: You're well-versed in the cybersecurity industry, keeping up with current trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to make informed decisions and stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Product Development Experience: You bring proven experience in product management, especially in software development. You're skilled in product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
