About the role:
Type: Full Time Salaried
Compensation: $145,000 (target salary)
Location: Fully Remote, must be in the United States
Hours: Full Time Days

What to Expect:
The Director, Corporate Systems is responsible for overseeing the technology, customer, and business aspects for company's Human Resources, Payroll, and Finance/Accounting Systems. This role develops a comprehensive understanding of the issues and opportunities facing the business and determines how information technology can address them, and then translates the agreed upon vision and strategy into actionable plans that guide system development and enhancements. This role involves extensive collaboration with engineering teams to ensure the integrations between systems are always considered, including defining requirements, setting timelines, and coordinating resources. This is a critical role in the organization and champions and serves as a technical expert for HR and Finance Systems, and drives long-term strategic direction, design requirements, features, functionality, and progressive enhancements. While not necessarily needing to be a programmer, the Director, Corporate Systems should have a basic understanding of technology and integration concepts. This includes knowledge of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), data formats (such as JSON or XML), and integration patterns. Additionally, this role plays a pivotal role in tracking and communicating the progress and execution of system development initiatives throughout their lifecycle to business stakeholders, and possess the ability to shape the future of our business through insights, analysis, and the effective communication and realization of a vision.
Reponsibilities:
- Partners with business units to gain an understanding of work requests and ROI, elicit feedback, and enable stakeholder reviews for validation.
- Collaborates with team members to define business requirements to meet the end users' needs through one-on-one, small and/or large-group interviews about technology and system concepts.
- Plays a pivotal role in tracking and communicating the progress and execution of system development initiatives throughout their lifecycle to business stakeholders.
- For larger initiatives, develops and reviews story maps with stakeholders to outline scope as input to the HRIS systems strategic roadmap in coordination of the with the Backlog of requests.
- Collaborates with teams to develop and implement training and communications that allow stakeholders to better understand the products and associated changes, and develops end-user trainings as needed.
- Engages in day-to-day activities with the IT development team, providing feedback and clarity on requirements.
- Provides vision to stakeholders throughout the system's lifecycle.
- Works closely with business leaders to create, prioritize, and maintain system roadmap matching the business vision -year to year plan.
- Collaborates on release plans and set expectations for the delivery of new functionalities.
- Mitigates impediments impacting productivity.
- Oversees the configuration of systems to ensure efficient business process automation.
- Designs regular reports and analysis to ensure the business has a clear line of sight to critical metrics.
- Utilizes a variety of applications across the business enterprise, including but not limited to HRIS (UltiPro), applicant tracking system and onboarding (iCIMS), reporting (Tableau), learning management system (LMS) and financial software platforms (Netsuite).
- Enhances and maintains the configuration of HRIS systems to ensure efficient business process automation.
- Provides end to end project management for system upgrades and new technology implementations.
- Continuously evaluates configurations and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Conducts analysis and collates data to enable decision making, strategic planning, and improvement of outcomes for the business and associates.
- Manages process improvement projects and applies change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
- Conducts audits, ensures integrity of data systems, maintains systems with appropriate setup, tables, and structure.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Serves as an technology liaison with third-party vendors and internal departments, including information technology, finance, and payroll.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends and recommends innovations to enhance organizational capabilities.
- Leads and manages the team, providing direction, coaching, and feedback to ensure high quality work and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 years experience to include:
Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
UKG Pro and iCIMS a plus
Finance/Accounting Information Systems
· NetSuite a plus
Data Warehouse (Tableau experience preferred)
