About the role:

 

Type: Full Time Salaried

Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000

Location: Remote

Hours: Full Time Days

Position Summary: 

This position manages and oversees the organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).  It is a front-line leadership role in a lean, private equity-backed environment that both develops and executes the HRIS strategy, and while functioning as the hands-on system administrator for human capital management (UKG Pro) and the applicant tracking system (iCiMs).  

This role reports to the Sr. Dir, Human Resources, and partners closely with the Corporate Systems team and other internal business stakeholders.  The ideal candidate will have excellent partnership and collaboration skills, and strong, hands-on experience in a variety of applications across the business enterprise, including, but not limited to UKG Pro and iCIMS.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and configures software requirements based on changing business needs.
  • System administrator for human capital management (UKG Pro) and applicant tracking systems (iCiMs).
  • Creates, modifies, and generates custom reports in BI Cognos to meet the requirements of management and staff.
  • Oversee HRIS system governance to ensure strong HR compliance and data accuracy.
  • Ensures timely resolution of HRIS issues and responsive communication to key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifies system needs; implements system upgrades and process enhancements.
  • Provides user-friendly training and support to HR staff and end-users.
  • Collaborates with key technical stakeholders to optimize HRIS integrations / data feeds to and from associated internal and external systems using cloud-based connectors (APIs) and SFTPs.
  • Collaborates with IT to resolve system issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Competencies/Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expert proficiency in HRIS software and data management.
  • Strong HRIS Governance and HR federal/state regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR/Payroll business processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Expertise in Excel, including advanced features.
  • API and Snap Logic experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Required experience:

  • 5+ years with HRIS systems, including both HCM and ATS platforms.
  • Ideally have advanced proficiency in both UKG Pro/BI Cognos and iCiMs.
  • Experience in lean, private equity environment preferred / helpful.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • PHR or SPHR certification (preffered).
  • HRIS certification (preferred).
  • Project management certification (optional).
