Agilist I
Job Summary:
Assists teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Service Delivery Managers, Service Request Managers, and the organization to drive value focused delivery of products through facilitation, impediment removal and coaching. Agilists teach and promote agile mindset/skill set and may use a variety of agile Frameworks (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, & Hybrid) to coach/mentor the team towards agile maturity and business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Mentors Scrum Master/Product Owner/ Service Delivery Manager/Service Request Manager
- Facilitate team ceremonies such as retrospectives and project post-mortems
- Encourages and facilitates the development of the team as well as each individual person on the team
- Collaborates to build interactive trainings and training programs to support budding agilists and experts alike
- Coaches teams to remove roadblocks and impediments to change and delivery
- Assess the Agile health and fluency of teams and coaches to higher effectiveness, at a pace that is sustainable
- Facilitate and deliver workshops on Agile practices, frameworks, and methodologies from already prepared curriculum. Collaborates with communities of practice/guilds
- Assesses team health metrics and generates Jira Dashboards and other custom reporting
Agilist II
Job Summary:
A servant leader and coach who assists teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Service Delivery Managers, Service Request Managers, and the organization to drive value focused delivery of products through facilitation, impediment removal and coaching. Agilists teach and promote agile mindset/skill set and may use a variety of agile Frameworks (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, & Hybrid) to coach/mentor the team towards agile maturity and business outcomes. The Agilist II provides advanced expertise in guiding both Scrum and Kanban Agile teams. Helps teams reach higher level of maturity. Promotes appropriate use of Jira ALM tooling and has advanced configuration and scripting skills.
Responsibilities:
- Guide teams to stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning their approach to ensure that overall strategy is being met
- Drives cultural change by championing an agile mindset and the use of metrics and other objective measures by teams with the ability to link team health metrics to appropriate techniques for continuous improvement
- Communicates agile principles, practices, and overall maturity model across the organization
- Creates curriculum for training on agile techniques
- Manages risks, escalates impediments, confirms value delivery, and assists in driving continuous improvement
- Collaborates with project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for adopting agile best practices
- Assesses and makes recommendations of areas of improvement at the team level to create sustainable pace and process that enables iterative delivery
- Helps assess the Agile health and fluency of the organization and coach to higher effectiveness, at a pace that is sustainable. Programs Groovy custom field scripts, listeners, and behaviors. Navigates the Jira database structure and apply in Transact-SQL
Agilist III
Job Summary:

Agilists teach and promote agile mindset/skill set and may use a variety of agile Frameworks (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, & Hybrid) to coach/mentor the team towards agile maturity and business outcomes. The Agilist III interacts at the enterprise level, across multiple teams and departments. Acts in a consulting capacity at both the organizational and team levels. Facilitates program level processes and execution. Maintains position of subject matter expertise, with the ability to assess new developments in the agile community and integrate promising new techniques into MMO process.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the Project Management Office. Assists in the coordination of team and department roadmaps based on organizational demand/capacity constraints.
- Creates an environment that facilitates positive team health as well as provide guidance and management to all workers to ensure goals are met. Helps assess the Agile health and fluency of the organization and coach to higher effectiveness, at a pace that is sustainable
- Use professional coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and training to support leaders on their personal development journeys to ensure adoption of best practices from the top down
- Facilitate cross team, cross-department initiatives and manage complex dependencies. Helps the organization identify impediments and discover ways to remove dependencies
- Develops emerging practices that best optimize the company's IT management system and help the portfolio stay connected to enterprise strategy
- Implements practices for visions, roadmaps, OKRs and work hierarchy across the enterprise that connects portfolio, planning and execution
- Guides transformational change on our journey to product
Qualifications:
Agilist I
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with administering Jira configurations, including Jira Misc Workflow Extension
- 3 or more years' experience collaborating, facilitating, leading and coaching Agile teams in large strategic initiatives.
- 3 or more years of Influential Leadership
- 3 years' experience working with business applications and customer-oriented systems
- 3 years' experience functioning in an Enterprise Agile Role
- 3 years of IT and business/health insurance industry experience.
- Certification in Agile frameworks and Agilist skills such as CSP-SM, PSM I, CSP-PO, PSPO, TKP
- Solid understanding of multiple applications development methodologies and best practices
- Solid understanding of delivering and supporting technical solutions in various infrastructure domains
- Solid understanding/demonstration utilizing Application Lifecycle Management tools
- Experience in implementing and maintaining key performance measures related to program, project, and/or portfolio management, including benefit realization.
Agilist II
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience leading Kanban teams through STATIK workshops
- 5 or more years' experience collaborating, facilitating, leading and coaching Agile teams in large strategic initiatives.
- 5 or more years of Influential Leadership
- 5 years' experience working with business applications and customer-oriented systems
- 5 years' experience functioning in an Enterprise Agile Role
- 5 years of IT and business/health insurance industry experience.
- Certification in multiple Agile frameworks and Agilist skills such as CSP-SM, PSM II, CSP-PO, PSPO, KMP, SAFe Practitioner
- Solid understanding of multiple applications development methodologies and best practices
- Solid understanding of delivering and supporting technical solutions in various infrastructure domains
- Solid understanding/demonstration utilizing Application Lifecycle Management tools
- Experience in implementing and maintaining key performance measures related to program, project, and/or portfolio management, including benefit realization.
- Advanced Jira skills, including application of advanced roadmaps
