General Summary of Position
Plans organizes directs and evaluates the Anesthesiology department's operational activities. Supervises the daily activities of the Anesthesia Technicians.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required and
- college degree preferred
- 3-4 years Healthcare supervisory experience required
- One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
- CAT - Certified Anesthesia Technician CERT-ANE Certification as an Anesthesia Technician Upon Hire preferred and
- Anesthesia Machine Certification Upon Hire preferred and
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate on the departmentÆs behalf.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
This position has a hiring range of
USD $53,788.00 - USD $95,929.00 /Yr.
