General Summary of Position
The incumbent in this position will work in a multidisciplinary lab working with a variety of service lines. Procedures include: Diagnostic Cardiac catheterization ICD and Pacemaker procedures Electrophysiology and Ablation procedures Diagnostic and Interventional Peripheral procedures Interventional and Diagnostic Bronchoscopy procedures Bone Marrow Harvest procedures. The incumbent in this position will assist with all invasive procedures. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Education
- Associate's degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- EKG/hemodynamic monitoring. required
- 1-2 years Minimum of 1 year in Cardiac Catheterization or Interventional Radiology required
- Additional exposure in Electrophysiology and specific Peripheral Interventions preferred
- RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist required or
- RCVT - Registered Cardiovasc Tec required or
- ARRT ARRT ARRT-CI or ARRT-VI required or
- RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist required
- BLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required
- Current knowledge and techniques in Cath Lab knowledge of cardiology meds EKG monitoring starting IV's must be able to act quickly and remain calm in stressful and emergency situations.

USD $35.68 - USD $64.71 /Hr.
