Summary of Position:
MedStar Health is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support senior leadership. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support—you'll serve as a key partner in managing priorities, driving projects forward, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level support to a Vice President/Corporate Director, managing complex calendars, meetings, and priorities
- Coordinate executive communications, prepare presentations, reports, and correspondence
- Track special projects and deadlines, ensuring timely completion and follow-up
- Organize and support meetings and committees, including agendas, minutes, and logistics
- Serve as a central point of contact, screening calls and managing requests with professionalism and discretion
- Maintain confidential files and ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Oversee office operations, supplies, and administrative workflows
- Exercise sound judgment and take initiative to resolve day-to-day issues
Minimal Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required and
- Formal secretarial training preferred
- Associate's degree preferred
Experience
- 2+ years of executive or administrative support experience (healthcare preferred)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Experience managing complex calendars and scheduling systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and maintain attention to detail
- High level of discretion and professionalism
This position has a hiring range of
USD $59,820.00 - USD $101,836.00 /Yr.
