The Manager, Therapy Services, provides high-quality physical, occupational, or speech therapy services to patients, including but not limited to screening and evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, reassessment and revision, re-evaluation, discharge planning, and thorough documentation. In addition to direct clinical responsibilities, this role is accountable for the overall operations and management of the department or clinic.

Primary Duties:  

• Contributes to departmental goals and objectives while adhering to policies, procedures, quality, and safety standards in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment services (excluding PTA/COTA), including assessments, care planning, patient/family education, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrates clinical autonomy and evidence-based practice, pursuing ongoing professional development and supporting departmental strategic and clinical growth initiatives.
• Oversees daily operations of the physical therapy department/clinic, ensuring adequate staffing, maintaining competencies, mentoring supervisors, and promoting an exceptional patient experience.
• Leads performance improvement and program development efforts, facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration, community outreach, and process enhancements to improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy (Required)
• Master's degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy (Required)
• Master's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy (Required)
• Associate's degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or in business (Required)
• 3-4 years Minimum of 3-4 years clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting (Required)
• 1-2 years Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching treatment principles and application to students and or/staff (Required)
• 1-2 Two years of professional staff supervision experience (Preferred)

License/Certifications:

• OT-Occupational Therapist licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia as deemed necessary for the specific location, Upon Hire (Required) or
• PT-Physical Therapist licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia as deemed necessary for the specific location, Upon Hire (Required) or
• SLP- Speech Language Practitioner Physical Therapist licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia as deemed necessary for the specific location, Upon Hire (Required) or
• PTA- Physical Therapist Assistant Physical Therapist licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia as deemed necessary for the specific location, Upon Hire (Required) or
• COTA- Occupational Therapy Assistant- Certified Physical Therapist licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia as deemed necessary for the specific location Upon Hire (Required) or
• CPR- Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Physical Therapist licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia as deemed necessary for the specific location, Upon Hire (Required) o
