General Summary of Position
The Nurse Wellbeing Program Manager at the MedStar Health Center for Wellbeing (MCW) within the MedStar Institute for Innovation (MI2) leads and supports strategic projects that drive wellbeing transformation through nurse wellbeing initiatives across MedStar Health. The role manages complex cross-functional programs by identifying opportunities developing solutions and fostering a culture of wellbeing. Working closely with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams this role supports changes in people process and technology to advance care delivery workforce sustainability and clinician experience. The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare program management expertise operational discipline and the ability to translate strategy into measurable impact in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g. nursing social work health studies etc.) required
- Bachelor's degree nursing preferred
- Master's degree preferred
- 8-10 years Relevant experience in project/program management including planning execution data tracking reporting and performance improvement initiatives required
- Experience working effectively with nursing leadership frontline staff and interdisciplinary teams required
- Experience leading work with external vendors partners or national organizations preferred
- Experience in working within a team environment as a member facilitator and process manager required
- Demonstrated ability to plan organize motivate and control resources to achieve specific goals under the constraints of project scope time quality and budget.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives to successful completion
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
This position has a hiring range of
USD $71,843.00 - USD $135,907.00 /Yr.
