Job Summary:
MedStar Health is looking for a Regional Supervisor Peer Recovery to join our team!
Manages a team of Peer Recovery Coaches under the direction of a Regional Director of Community Health in the Baltimore Community Health Department, across the four Baltimore hospitals – Medstar Harbor Hospital, Medstar Good Samaritan Hospital, Medstar Union Memorial Hospital, and Medstar Franklin Square Hospital Medical Center. Directly works with behavioral health and community health service lines to lead and provide leadership on peer recovery programs that support patients in the emergency department, ambulatory, and labor/delivery units.

Primary Duties:
- Leads and manages behavioral health programs, including peer recovery, SBIRT, and medication-assisted treatment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversees department operations, including budgeting, staffing, performance management, and staff development.
- Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to support patient engagement, care coordination, and removal of barriers to care.
- Supports grant initiatives through program development, data collection, reporting, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Builds and maintains relationships with community organizations and represents the department in outreach, education, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, Community Health. Behavioral Health, or Social Work (Preferred)
- 1-2 years – 2 years related experience. (Required)
- Knowledge of behavioral health and substance use services. (Preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology (Preferred)
License/Certifications:
- Registered and certified Maryland Peer Recovery Supervisor Upon Hire (Required)
This position has a hiring range of
USD $61,838.00 - USD $111,259.00 /Yr.
