Inpatient/Outpatient General Ortho Physician Assistant/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity at MedStar Washington Hospital Center – Washington, D.C.

We are looking for a qualified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team of 6 highly skilled Advanced Practice Providers. We offer a supportive team environment with hands-on training from our surgeons, residents, and fellow APP's. The provider in this role will be working in the inpatient and outpatient setting in the ortho department.
Job Summary
- Perioperative patient care:
- Ordering and interpreting labs
- admission history and physicals
- inpatient rounding and discharge completions
This is a full-time position, 5 days a week, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. No weekends, holidays, or nights!
You must be an ACNP or PA to be considered for the role. We cannot accept FNPs.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Training
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience
- License/Certification/Registration
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
