Description
In coordination with leadership, plans and implements communication strategies and tactics that drive results in reaching entity specific and/or regional internal audiences, particularly physicians and associates. Strategizes, coordinates and develops content for multiple communication channels in support of the overall internal communications strategy. With minimal direction, works independently, collaboratively and with content experts to provide communications support for leadership, key departments, and committees. Supports critical message development and execution across the hospital(s).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing required
- One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
- 3-4 years Internal Communications, marketing or related experience required and
- Healthcare experience preferred
- One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects related to effective, strategic communication with an emphasis on nuanced messaging, writing, and printing.
- Some internal events planning.
- Creativity and ability to organize and handle many details.
- Ability to work independently as a self-directed individual and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
