General Summary of Position

The incumbent in this position is a supervisor who provides professional nursing care and participates in and facilitates the management of the operational, personnel and financial activities of the unit. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Schedule

Days- 4 -10hr shifts per week 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 2 years of related clinical experience in nursing in a procedure area required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the District of Columbia required
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required
• Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
• Health Services\ACLS preferred

This position has a hiring range of $46.17 - $75.62
