General Summary of Position
Performs specimen testing and analysis on patient samples to aid the clinician in providing patient care services. Ensures that all quality control, quality assurance and equipment maintenance is documented and maintained according to standards. Provides exceptional customer service as needed. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards. Working hours for this role will be overnight shift, 10pm-8:30AM, four 10-hour shifts, rotating days of the week.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree B.S. Degree (preferably in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field) required
Experience
- laboratory experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- ASCP - American Society of Clinical Pathologist preferred or
- CABP - Certified Advanced Biotherapies Professional preferred or
- American Medical Technologists - AMT preferred

- Considerable and current knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of clinical laboratory science.

This position has a hiring range of $29.15 - $51.68
