General Summary of Position
The Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation nurse is responsible for evaluating and treating clients within their scope of practice, including intake, exercise, education, and counseling according to departmental policies and procedures with pulmonary/cardiac rehabilitation. The nurse must assess the effectiveness and responses to interventions and document according to established standards. The nurse must be able to quickly and effectively respond to medical emergencies in a clinic setting and may be required to assist with scheduling, clinic clerical tasks, and quality improvement monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
- 3-4 years experience in a cardio/pulmonary rehab, acute care, critical care or emergency dept. nursing. required
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the State of Maryland. required
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 90 Days required
This position has a hiring range of $34.98 - $62.52
