Description
Responsible for collaborating closely with the Executive Director (Physician Leader) to lead and implement a system-wide approach for MedStar Senior Services. This role focuses on effective and efficient clinical operations, quality patient outcomes, and fiscal accountability. In partnership with the Executive Director, this position leads care teams across settings to achieve population health quality measures, improve patient/family experience, promote health equity, and reduce the overall cost of care. Utilizes service line data to actively evaluate and improve care delivery. Partners with other system leaders to shape care and health system navigation for elderly patients.
Education
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required
- 5-7 years Related experience in the health care setting to include track record of leading successful teams; working knowledge of operational processes, performance improvement and data collection; experience working effectively with multiple departments and physicians: Managing complex projects; solid knowledge of financial reports and budgeting, and some familiarity with value-based payment models. required and
- Clinical service and/or geriatric experience preferred
- No special certification, registration or license required
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, organizational and planning skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to effectively manage staff and lead teams.
- Excellent time management skills with exceptional ability to plan, organize, and implement projects to completion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize independently
