This role drives economic strategy, supports contract optimization, and ensures readiness for value-based and risk-based models.

You will partner with executive, clinical, and operational leaders to translate complex data into actionable strategies—optimizing reimbursement, improving outcomes, and strengthening Mercy's long-term sustainability.

What You'll Do
• Lead managed care modeling and analytics to support contract strategy and performance optimization
• Drive financial performance across value-based and risk-bearing reimbursement models
• Partner with clinical, operational, and finance leaders to ensure readiness and success in managed care contracts
• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for executive leaders
• Develop and execute strategies that achieve key financial and performance targets
• Provide leadership on complex financial and operational challenges
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, timely results on strategic initiatives Position Details:

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Healthcare Administration
• 5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare finance, managed care, or related field
• Prior leadership experience
• Experience with hospital reimbursement and/or physician practice operations and reimbursement

Key Skills

• Strong financial acumen with the ability to drive sustainable, positive outcomes
• Experience with managed care contracting, including risk-based arrangements (payer or provider side)
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to lead through complexity and collaborate across diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field
