Overview:
Responsible for in-house fire service education and community outreach education to county volunteer fire districts. Plans, organizes, and implements training courses. Serves as primary instructor. At times may serve as staff EMT responding to EMS calls, providing pre-hospital care in accordance with State Department of Health EMS Regulations and department protocols.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of EMT Basic or Paramedic Training Program. Fire Service Instructor training.
Licensure: Licensed by state of Oklahoma EMS Division as EMT Basic or Paramedic.
Experience: 5 Years fire service; paid or volunteer.
Certifications: National Registry of EMT. OSU Fire Service Instructor certification.
Other: Basic Computer including keyboarding, PowerPoint, and desktop publishing. Experienced with audiovisual presentations.
