Find your calling at Mercy! The Executive Director of Payor Relations & Contracting leads the strategic direction of managed care contracting across our Mercy Arkansas footprint. This role oversees contract negotiations, rate structures, and reimbursement strategies to support financial performance and growth. The role involves collaboration internal departments and senior leadership to resolve operational issues and improve processes. The position also manages reporting, and contract administration across Mercy-wide initiatives that involve Managed Care. Strong leadership and deep expertise in managed care are essential to drive success in this role. Position Details:
Qualifications:
Location: Resides in Northwest Arkansas or Fort Smith
Education: Bachelors Degree required, Masters preferred
Experience: A minimum 5 years of Hospital/Physician, Payor, and/or Direct Employer contracting experience in a competitive health care market.
Proven ability to relate well with Payor and Employer leadership.
Progressive experience in health care and Payor/Insurance related business and contracting activities.
Extensive experience in negotiation payor rates and performance/incentive programs.
Good working knowledge employer benefit plans, payment structure/principles of hospital, physician, and ancillary entities.
