Overview:

 

Responsible for traveling with biometric screening team to administer on-site health screenings to companies as assigned. Ability to complete training and perform a variety of health screening procedures including phlebotomy, blood pressure, pulse, body composition, urine drug screens, hearing testing, vision testing, pulmonary function testing, EKG's, and Respirator Fit Tests.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate Degree in health related field or CMA. Job experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Experience: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous medical testing or phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Certifcation/Registration: AHA Basic life support training should be completed in first 90 days. Class E license required within first 30 days. Phlebotomy certification within first 30 days.
  • Other:
    • Passion for wellness and medical background/skillset essential.
    • Must have good computer skills.
    • Strong verbal and written skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all parties.
    • Legible handwriting.
    • Requirement to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
    • Rigid accuracy in the identification and reporting of client data, billing and payments.
    • Willingness to use personal protective equipment in compliance with exposure control program.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, some evenings and Saturdays.
    • Overnight travel required a few times annually.
    • Regular and punctual attendance.
    • Confinement in tight, crowded, noisy and drafty work spaces.
    • Frequent mobility in accessing files, charts, and clients.
    • Ability to load and unload equipment and maneuver in/out of high vehicles.
