Description
Find your calling at Mercy! Performs personal care and other assigned duties to patients in their home under the guidance and supervision of the skilled nursing staff or therapy staff. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details:
Preferred Education: High school diploma or GED.
Licensure: Valid driver's license.
Experience:
Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant and/or completion of the Mercy-approved Patient Care Tech Program. CPR certification required but can be obtained after hire.
Preferred Experience: Experience in a homecare or nursing facility.
Preferred Other: Has basic computer skills as well as a working knowledge of Windows, Word and Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
