Overview:
Perform general receptionist duties. Responsible for greeting patients, their families and co-workers. Provides correct information in assisting patients and their families on finding their way throughout our facilities. Creates a positive first impression and presents a positive presence by providing excellent customer service consistent with the established guidelines and goals of Mercy Hospital-Springfield. Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Demonstrate skills in communication and the ability to deal with a variety of people. Also possess good judgment and dependable. Must have good understanding and knowledge of basic windows (word, excel & email).
- Required Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Other: Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Ability to walk from floor to floor to make rounds. Clean rooms as needed. Do a variety of paper work.Equipment Used: Calculator, computer, credit card machine.
