Find your calling at Mercy! Must live within St. Louis, MO, position is located at Mercy Hospital South. This position is onsite with minimum of two - three days/week with flexibility for remote work as needed.

The HR Operations Partner delivers proactive, personalized service for Mercy caregivers, building trusted relationships and responding to their needs with compassion, consistency, and accountability.

The position is responsible for facilitating and logistics of bi-weekly new caregiver orientation and supporting core human resources functions designed to elevate the caregiver lifecycle through talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, and caregiver experience for assigned locations or business units. The role provides remote and onsite HR support to caregivers and leaders, serving as a trusted resource for day-to-day guidance, issue resolution, and operational needs.

The role partners cross-functionally to build a thriving workplace culture and supports projects aligned with ministry and departmental goals. Position Details:

Work Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR, operations, management, project coordination or related field
  • Experience supporting team dynamics, operational processes, employee relations, HR operations, and compliance, or other similar areas.
  • Exposure to recruitment, training, and employee engagement initiatives and/or other people-focused initiatives.
  • Experience working in healthcare, mission-driven organization or other sectors with a strong focus on people and culture is a plus.
  • Ability to serve onsite at Mercy South a minimum of two - three days/week with flexibility for remote work as needed.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills: Data analysis and Workday reporting

Preferred knowledge and experience within Microsoft office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) Power BI, and Workday.
