Description

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). LPN Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
Licensure:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
- Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience preferred
Certifications: NOTE: one or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Preferred: IV Certification within 1 year of hire
