Mercy Hospital Joplin is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist (Swingshift) to join our established and collegial team. This role is ideal for physicians who enjoy a fast-paced admitting service within a supportive, well‑resourced environment. Mercy is a leading, integrated health system with locations across Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma, offering extensive collaboration with a large multispecialty group.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
• Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. (primarily admissions)
• Work alongside a highly experienced team that includes 6 daytime hospitalists and 2 intensivists
• Closed ICU supported by 24/7 intensivist coverage
• E‑ICU virtual monitoring for all ICU rooms through Mercy Virtual Care Center (St. Louis)
• Fully integrated Epic EMR; Dragon dictation available
• All-private patient rooms throughout the facility
• Broad and reliable subspecialty support

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation package plus relocation assistance
• $50,000 commencement bonus
• Shift differentials:
  • Day: $1,751
  • Swingshift: $1,863
  • Nocturnist: $2,179
