Position: RN -Clinical Nurse Educator -ICU

Status: Full Time (36 hrs/wk)

Shift: Varies

About ICU:

We are a fast-paced, high-energy 19 bed, medical surgical ICU that allows for a great learning environment for new nurses to the team. floor.  We function as one team with amazing teamwork to provided top quality care to our patients. We are a team of dedicated co-workers that work together to ensure patients receive the lifesaving care they need.


Qualifications:

  • Education: BSN/bachelor's degree in nursing Required or enrolled within 6 months of hire. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

  • Licensure: Must have a current RN temporary permit/ RN license in the State of Missouri

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience and MUST have ICU Experience

  • Specialty Certification: AHA BLS provider.  

  • Other:

    • Demonstrates clinical knowledge related to evidence-based practice with the credibility to positively influence the delivery of patient care.

    • Proven ability to organize and multitask to meet project deadlines.

    • Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of audiovisual equipment is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of equipment/technology used in delivery of patient care.

  • Preferred: Additional life support certifications as required by specialty (ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, TNCC and/or ENPC)
