Description
Find your calling at Mercy! The advanced supply chain specialist serves as supply chain inventory representative both locally and ministry-wide and is responsible for monitoring and planning of the perpetual and par inventory daily to ensure adequate levels are met to prevent overstock and stockouts for the hospital. Emphasis on this critical supply chain position include advanced use of inventory software, effective and efficient ordering supplies, counting inventory on a routine basis, organizing, and keeping stockroom locations clean, shipping, unloading deliveries, maintaining usage records as well as focus on daily physical inventories throughout the facility. This role can serve as a backup for supervisor as well as manage departmental projects. Position Details:
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of Mercy Preceptor Course within 6 months of hire.
Licensure:
Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in multiple areas and demonstrated leadership, demonstrated proficiency in supply chain specialist competencies and fully functional in the role, or 3 or more years direct healthcare supply chain experience, team leadership in specialized area of supply chain.
