Supply Chain Technician will utilize supply chain software systems to fill, order, stock, distribute, and receive both supplies and linen along with assisting with the management of PAR inventories. Our Supply Chain team is at the heart of our mission of Mercy. With our Supply Chain Career Ladder coworkers can grow and develop into a career they love serving our communities. Supply Chain Technicians may support multiple supply areas in the hospital as assigned, this can include Central Supply, Linens, Operating Room, and other Specialty areas as deemed by management. Technicians also assists with the management of inventories and pars to ensure adequate levels. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, Mercy Service Standards, and Accounting of Stewardship.
Qualifications:
Supply Chain Technician:
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: No Experience Required, at least 1-year previous Supply Distribution experience is preferred
Advanced Supply Chain Technician:
- Experience: Mastered Supply Chain Technician Competencies and fully functional in Supply Chain Technician role, or 2 years direct healthcare supply chain experience. Prefer 12 months in Mercy Supply Chain Technician role.
- Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: Completion of Mercy Preceptor Course within 6 months.
