Team Lead - Rehab

Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week

 

 


Overview:

Under the direction of the Therapy Supervisor and/or the Manager of Rehabilitation, provides appropriate treatment to individuals with neuromusculoskeletal dysfunctions in order to achieve maximum functional potential. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy service standards. This position may float between all facilities and may do so to more than 1 location on any given day based on the department and patient needs to include IP and OP services. Participates in weekend and holiday rotation. All patient age and populations served. This position will assist the supervisor or manager in operational duties of the dept. as determined by the supervisor or manager. Additionally, this position will be responsible for coordination of student affiliations, work que support and EPIC related needs, and other duties as assigned. Coordinates placement of patients and staff assignments as needed. Assists clinical staff with patient care and unit activities. Interacts with medical staff, patient family members, department leaders and other personnel as necessary. Participates in planning and performance of educational training and orientation of unit staff, advises staff on procedures and policies. Assists in the orientation of new employees to the unit.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school for Physical or Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in the therapy profession.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • License: Active Oklahoma state license. 
  • Certifications: BLS required.
