Overview:
The Workers' Comp Coordinator will support Mercy's workers' compensation program by receiving, processing, and assisting injured co-workers through the workers' compensation process. They will serve as the on-site resource for all incidents and injuries, as well as support leaders/departments through processes and prevention efforts.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited health care program related to licensure.
- Experience: 2 years prior clinical experience
- License: Current state licensure for clinical role (Certified medical assistant, LPN, RN, etc.)
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association upon 90 days of hire
- Preferred Experience: Two years of clinical experience in occupational medicine, infectious disease, employee health or workers' compensation
