What you will do:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations. Provides leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.

Some key responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Assist in development/monitoring of budgets to optimize financial performance
  • Assist leadership with financial forecasting and decision-making
• Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Preparation of timely & accurate reports that summarize and forecast the organization's financial position
  • Responsible for executing and overseeing the month-end close process in accordance with GAAP and internal policies 
  • Perform variance analysis and account reviews
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and accounting staff
• Direct the accounting function – oversee the accounting, audit, and budget functions
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to gather necessary financial data and resolve discrepancies

Preferred Qualifications: 

• BS/BA in Accounting/Finance
• MBA, CPA, or CMA designation
• Five (5) Years Exp. in Financial Planning, Modeling, and Forecasting
• Manufacturing Industry Experience Preferred
• Proficient & current understanding of GAAP that are relevant to the business
• High degree of accuracy in work product
• Leadership experience
• Supervisory experience
