Job Description:

The Field Services Coordinator oversees coordination, logistics, and field operations related to the foundation services program. The Field Services Coordinator supports client relationships, estimating, and execution of field services. To support project-specific field activities, the Field Services Coordinator prepares service-specific documents for clients and field personnel, as well as schedules machinery, equipment, and material for field services for utility-scale energy projects. The Services Coordinator also coordinates with subcontractors to provide site services. The Services Coordinator position is critical for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining client relationships, maintaining efficient on-site operations, exceeding client expectations, and supporting field personnel with excellent reporting and communication regarding schedules, budgets, and service deliverables.

Primary Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Maintain client relationships and exceed client expectations for field services

  • Create proposals and service estimates for new projects

  • Create schedules and budgets for existing projects

  • Coordinate and manage execution of field services

  • Schedule, coordinate, and manage subcontractors for field services

  • Create and/or maintain partner vendor relationships to support field services

  • Schedule heavy machinery, including pile drivers, excavators, skid steers, and forklifts.

  • Document geotechnical testing procedures for ground-mount foundations.

  • Understand and implement safe practices with all aspects of service on site

  • Report project progress to managers and directors

  • Read, understand, and communicate construction layouts and related tasks.

  • Track and maintain field services equipment as necessary.

  • Support client deliverables, client questions or requests, and reporting after on-site service.

Qualifications

Education: College degree required.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience:  

  • 3-5 Years of Construction or field management experience required, such as Scheduler, Coordinator, or Project Manager.

  • Construction experience and heavy machinery experience preferred.

  • Ground-mount solar installation experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of geotechnical testing procedures preferred.

  • Proven experience in customer service and working with external and internal teams such as vendors, suppliers, and partners.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to maintain and exceed expectations through exceptional relationship management.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work environments.

Skills

  • OSHA 10 hour training preferred.

  • Valid Driver's License required.

  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Gmail, and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.

  • Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and most importantly, the ability to work well in a team.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey data both internal and external

  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google applications.

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
