Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
Do you like helping others? NFM is looking for a Computer Diagnostic Specialist responsible for providing outstanding customer service, processing returned items, and resolving computer issues. If you have a knack for tech, creative problem solving, and providing timely customer satisfaction, this is the job for you!
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
Assist: Provide world-class customer service
- Train as a Customer Service Specialist, learning and utilizing the NFM system
- Assist customers with basic troubleshooting and recommend service options
- Create positive experiences and build relationships to enhance customer loyalty
- Follow up with customer concerns, issues, needs in a timely manner
- Model the HEAT method: Hear them out, Empathize, Apologize, and Take-Action
- Varies by Region: May be assigned to work on a customer service register
Evaluate: Listen to the needs of the customer to determine what service is necessary to meet or exceed expectations
- Research and review customer accounts
- Check status of merchandise and recommend service options based on their needs and expectations while maintaining NFM policies and parameters
Process: Process returns, exchanges, and order maintenance for customer owned merchandise.
- Review various reports throughout the day for any items returned needing inspection; paying particular attention to customer deadlines or pick up times
- Inspect returned items for completeness, damage, removal of private information as applicable, and determine disposition
- Assist with cellular inspections prior to return
- Restore merchandise for repair and/or resale
- Responsible for inventory process, including tagging product, receiving and transfers

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- Technical degree in computer science preferred
- 1-year computer repair
- 1-year customer service experience
- CNE or CAN certification preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Pre-employment screening includes, criminal background check
