Pay Range: $83,594 – 103,656 annually 


Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

 

NFM's Process Improvement Analyst III- Industrial Engineer will lead the evaluation of work processes in the Omaha Distribution Center to determine strategies and programs that provide greater productivity, quality and efficiency of functions. This role will work to find the most efficient solutions to each request with expenses always being on the forefront. All while monitoring and tracking each project to ensure that projects are being completed. This is an onsite position located in Omaha, Ne. 

 

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Analyze: Gather information to evaluate current end-to-end work processes 
  • Collaborate: Work with managers, supervisors, and vendors to review inputs, performance standards, procedures, requirements, tools/equipment and outputs 
  • Implement: Establish work plans for each phase of implementation, assigning duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Improve: Work with managers to serve as a process expert for any other area of the company with basic process or quality improvement needs
  • Create: Develop training guides to be delivered by facilitators for all staff affected by the implementation of new processes
  • Develop: Guide Process Improvement Analyst I's and II's in developing new processes to increase productivity, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, logistics/supply chain management, or a related field 
  • 5+ years' experience in process improvement or within a functional area of a retail store, such as distribution/logistics, merchandising, sales, etc
  • 1 year leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
  • Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • Microsoft Visio
  • Must be able to travel to other company locations
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
