Pay Range: $45,793-167,382 annually (pay depending on experience and location) Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle As NFM's Programmer Analyst, you will evaluate, analyze, develop, test, implement and maintain application software systems, which are used to support any/all aspects of our business. You will also play a leading role in managing projects for tasks assigned. The EPR/Mainframe system Programmer/Analyst supports the technology development needs of NFM by analyzing, developing, testing, and implementing both new and existing software solutions. This role collaborates closely with partners across IT and the business to deliver effective, reliable, and scalable outcomes.This position requires the candidate to reside in NE, IA, KS, MO, or TX. Final candidates will be required to come on-site prior to receiving an offer or on their first day of employment. Ideal candidates will have experience working with our ERP system, NFM's mainframe platform called POPS. Additional experience in any of the following areas is a strong plus: Pick BASIC, COBOL, JSON, Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, Sales, Tax Accounting, Customer Service, Service Cloud, General Finance, and/or Homemakers. Job Duties: A Day in the Life Research: Examine the process and functions related to assigned tasks Collaborate: Meet with users and other analysts to problem solve and define needs Develop: Create program(s) for tasks assigned that meet requirements based on specifications and department standards Test: Assess programs as needed and modify until they run as specified Communicate: Follow-up on the status of the tasks assigned and update to production when approved Lead: Be the primary contact for business leaders and users for task management, application, projects and design Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that's what we love. Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes? Preferred Bachelor's degree with area of specialization in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years of software development experience Familiar with Project Management and Agile concepts Preferred development experience in Pick BASIC, COBOL, JSON Preferred development experience Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, Sales, Tax Accounting, Customer Service, Service Cloud, and General Finance Ability to work both independently and within a team framework and to motivate colleagues to manage projects effectively. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks of small to medium size, complexity, and impact Ability to accomplish moderately difficult tasks and make decisions with minimal supervision/review by others Strong communication and presentation skills Good understanding of application software and system concepts and the ability to apply them for the completion of moderately complex assignments 2+ years' experience with using the Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project) Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira and Azure DevOps desirable Familiarity with cloud technologies, architecture, and services desirable Accountable for timeline / deliverable commitments Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business need Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the USA on a full-time basis.
