Reporting to the Division Administrator, Worker's Compensation Legal Operations, the WC Legal Support Administrator is responsible for leading the management and delivery of support services from the department's Legal Assistant, Paralegal and IME Coordinator teams.  Leveraging technical expertise, the WC Legal Support Administrator will be tasked with strategically aligning the support units services to promote efficient representation of policyholder interests while collaborating with department leadership to meet the department's evolving support needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with WC Legal Management team to establish and improve processes and procedures in alignment with the strategic plan.
  • Develop Key Performance indicators and department metrics which improve workflow and support workforce management.
  • Develop and lead strategic initiatives to accommodate business growth.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership through coaching and development of Legal Support and Litigation Support Supervisors.
  • Ensure effective and efficient daily workflow of litigated claims through timely management and preparation of legal documents, scheduling of IMEs and completeness of discovery.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Supervisor or Managerial role, preferably in the legal sector, with knowledge of Workers' Compensation or a Paralegal Certificate/Degree or comparable work experience;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to problem solve.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing strong legal support teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementation of process improvements with a focus on data driven analytics and decision making.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

The salary range for this role is $99,000– $115,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience and credentials.
