Primary Purpose:
Responsible for key strategic customer relationships, maintaining and expanding current business levels and revenue to increase Norfolk Southern's wallet share within your assigned market.
Principal Duties:
- Account management and new business development to increase market share and support new or expanded industries accessible by NS within your assigned portfolio
- Collaborate with customers to uncover growth opportunities and rail solutions beneficial to all parties
- Be an effective communicator, advocating for your customers and your markets across NS business units
- Develop strategic plans through data analysis and customer engagement to spearhead contract negotiations to an outcome that expands NS' business
- Provide accurate and timely business reports, forecasts, sales trends, market impacts and other information as needed.
Job Related Experience:
Minimum Level: 3-5 years Preferred Level: 6-10 years
Education:
Preferred Level: Bachelor's Degree (MBA, BBA)
