
Description
At NorthBay Healthcare the Procedural Technologist is responsible for the delivery of patient care to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed professional nurse. The Procedural Technologist works as a team member with the primary function as the “scrub person” in the surgical suite and other clinical areas. The technologist may be assigned other functions as permitted by the hospital policy.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Graduate of Approved Surgical Technologist program preferred.
Licensure:
- Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS certification required.
Experience:
- Minimum six months ambulatory surgery center or acute care experience as a Procedural Technologist preferred.
Skills:
- Must demonstrate knowledge of sterile technique, safe use and care of procedural instruments and equipment, knowledge of various procedures.
- Basic windows computer skills required.

- Good communication skills; works as a team member.

Compensation:
- Hourly Salary Range $37.16-$45.19 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
