Description

At NorthBay Health the Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) Supervisor is a Respiratory Care Practitioner with demonstrated clinical expertise and a transformational leader who functions as the first-line shift supervisor for the department and has the following responsibilities:

  • Works under the supervision of the Clinical manager
  • Has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, excellent respiratory care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the organization and Patient Care Services Division
  • Utilizes Relationship Based Care and the NorthBay Way to support the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization
  • Responsible for leadership and supervision of direct care respiratory staff, daily operations, coordination of care between departments, leading the team to meet service goals, maintaining and promoting professional development
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Graduate of an approved CoARC RCP Program. 
  • BS degree preferred.

Licensure:  

  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License by the state of California.   
  • RRT
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification 
  • ACCS preferred

Experience:  

  • Minimum 5 years post graduate acute care preferred.  
  • Pediatric/neonatal experience preferred.

Hours of Work: 

  • Shift work, 12 hour shifts with 30 minute meal break; requires rotating weekends and holidays.

Compensation: 

  • Hourly Salary Range $56.93 - $69.27 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
  • Plus, Generous Shift Differentials
