• Will accept 13-26 week contracts!
• RTO: 7 days MAX
• Float Requirement: YES REQUIRED
• Weekend Requirement: 4 per 6 weeks
• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team
• Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster
• Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur
• Contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed
• Unit monitors cardiac patients
• PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: NIH, Charge experience

Job Requirements
• Skills: Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal experience required
• Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management
• Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience
• MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
• NM must interview prior to finalizing the offer

Schedule Information
• Shift: NIGHT 3x12-Hour (36 or 48 hours option)
• RTO: 7 days MAX
• Float Requirement: YES REQUIRED
• Weekend Requirement: 4 per 6 weeks

Unit Specific Information
• PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath
• SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit monitors cardiac patients, cardiac drips (various medications), sheaths pulls, TR bands, Femstop
• UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
• UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
• SCRUBS: Navy

Additional Details
• Contract staff will be part of Storm and/or Hurricane Teams and must report during disasters
• Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur, with preassignment to units as necessary
