What You'll Do
Serve as a primary contact for member inquiries via phone, email, fax, and written correspondence
Make outbound calls to members and providers as needed
Ensure claims are processed accurately and in accordance with policy provisions
Investigate and analyze medical, dental, and vision claims

What You'll Bring
High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
Medical office experience including reception work with exposure to the billing of medical claims and/or verifying medical benefits with insurance companies.
Strong telephone customer service and communication skills
Comfort using Microsoft Office and navigating computer systems
Ability to multitask and meet quality and production goals
Willingness to earn a medical terminology certification within 6 months of hire
Work Schedule
Hybrid schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Must be onsite Monday–Thursday during training
Occasional Saturday hours may be required
Note: 100% remote work is not available

This position primarily involves sedentary work, requiring the employee to sit for extended periods.
Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer screen, reading, and analyzing data.
Requires manual dexterity for frequent use of a keyboard and other office equipment.
Occasional light lifting (up to 10 pounds) may be required, such as handling files or office supplies.
The employee must be able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
