Summary
This position will report directly to the Controller, with a focus of BOM management, costing & assisting with various financial analysis projects. This includes participation in cost reviews, working with site manufacturing teams to set up new products, & supporting the preparation of financial statements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Support site management & plant operations with improvement efforts through in-depth analysis of BOMs & standard costs
- Work closely with the Controller & VP of Finance to complete various month end processes, fixed asset maintenance, & inventory accuracy
- Daily review of expense transactions, & general ledger accounts
- Other ad hoc reports & analysis as assigned
Requirements / Education / Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is helpful, but not required
- General knowledge of ERP systems
- Very strong Excel skills are critical, with the ability to navigate existing spreadsheets a plus
- Ability to navigate different connecting systems & programs fluidly
- Comfortable learning in a fast-paced environment
