After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Shift Differential: 

Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) + $1.00 per hour worked 
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am + $3.00 per hour worked 
Saturday (4am to 4pm) + $2.00 per hour worked 
Saturday (4pm to 4am) + $3.00 per hour worked 
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am + $2.00 per hour worked

Part-Time and Half-Time Employees: 

Eligible for an additional $2.00 per hour worked

Summary:

Under direct supervision of the Drop/Count Supervisors, this position, in the Drop Area, will collect and transport all gaming machine monies; in the Count Area, will count, wrap, verify, and prepare all monies to be transferred to the vault area. They will perform this by collecting/transporting cash boxes, emptying cash boxes, counting entire contents, and entering all information into a database using a personal computer.

Detailed responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times and in all activities. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of Oneida Casino. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority
* Ensure accountability and compliance with all regulatory requirements in all areas, at all times. Adhere to established quality, service delivery, customer service, and customer demand expectations. Adhere to all audit, and legal regulations/laws and practices.
* Contributes to the team effort
* Report any equipment problems to on duty supervisor and complete work orders for equipment needing repairs.
* Enforce procedures to ensure all Oneida Casino assets are secure.
* Collect and transport all monies from the Gaming floor to the count rooms, to include, all gaming machines, Table Games, NRT's, and Off Track Betting.
* Set out all drop boxes for every machine daily, and use tracking software and labeler to specify machine numbers.
* Pull cash boxes from all gaming machines, NRT's, table games, and off-track betting machines.
* Replace full cash boxes with empty cash boxes in all gaming machines.
* Take the full boxes and place them in a secure cart.
* Ensure all doors on the gaming machines and NRT's are properly closed and secure
* Ensure all the cart doors are locked and secure after each drop.
* Work as a key, runner/helper, or cart person as needed in the Drop Area.
* Pick up NRT fills as needed from the vault.
* Verify each machine, NRT, and table has been dropped, check all machines and tables by zone, and check floor for coin.
* Count, wrap, total, verify, and record monies and tickets from all gaming machines, Table Games, and NRT's.
* Secure and maintain Gaming Operation revenues.
* Assist in the machine testing and enter all data upon verification of the physical count.
* Prepare paperwork and money for transfer to the Vault Area.
* Open bill validator (BV) boxes, NRT cassettes, and Table Games drop boxes; count all monies.
* Verify each drop box, NRT BV and/or cassette is completely empty, cleared and set up for next session.
* Return all empty NRT BV's and cassettes to the vault.
* Keep contents of drop boxes separate until counted.
* Place and sort correctly drop boxes for next shift.
* Record NRT ticket counts and dropped pit fill/credit slips to daily reports and send to Gaming Accounting.
* Work as verifier or recorder as needed in the Count Area.
* Maintain daily cash box inventory.

Competencies and skills:
Essential:
* Communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing
* Interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
* Knowledge of basic computer operation
* Ability to cross train with other positions within the department and provide back-up as needed
* Knowledge of the gaming operations, its governing and regulatory structure
* Ability to exercise independent judgement
* Ability to be reliable, dependable, conscientious, possess initiative, and self-motivation with desire to learn
* Ability to apply basic mathematical skills
* Must pass a Math Test.
* Calculator 10 key.
* Ability to handle large sums of money.


Nonessential:
* Coin counter, coin wrapping machines and currency counters.
* Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.

Education Requirement :

Essential:

* Applicants age 50 and older are exempt from this requirement

* High School Diploma HSED GED Required or Obtain Within 1 yr

Must pass a background check to meet Employment Eligibility Requirements. If applicable, must pass a background check to meet Oneida Nation/State Compact and/or Oneida Nation Gaming Ordinance, and may be required to obtain a temporary license and/or Gaming license as a condition of employment.

Must be willing and able to obtain additional related education and training.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
