After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Summary:

Enhance Executive Director's effectiveness by providing professional administrative support. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information. 


Responsibilities:

* Maintain the Executive Director's calendar and appointments.
* Assist Executive Director to ensure proper processing for paperwork to include, but not limited to purchasing, accounts payable, travel, registration, training, and supply orders as assigned by the Executive Director.
* Ensure all administrative tasks are performed efficiently and effectively, identify resources available and utilize the necessary methods and tools to carry out duties and responsibilities.
* Monitor messages and forward matters of significance to Executive Director.
* Assist with preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and payments.
* Develop, maintain, and facilitate effective communication processes and activities
* Generate reports as directed or requested in a timely and effective manner.
* Ensure minutes of staff meetings are comprehensive and accurate with timely distribution.
* Work with Executive Director to monitor and ensure assigned tasks are completed within a timely manner.
* Ensure required tasks are thoroughly documented and readily retrievable.
* Responsible for developing documents, identifying necessary resources and protocols to complete assigned projects, as directed.
* Monitor implementation strategies and schedules to ensure timely execution of goals and objectives as directed.
* Develop, implement, and manage general administrative office support systems including records and file management and clerical and administrative duties.
* Gather reports, surveys, studies and miscellaneous information in a timely manner to assist the Executive Director.
* Assist with audio/visual presentations.
* Read, research and route correspondence.
* Review and develop drafts of correspondence, prepare staff meeting minutes, agendas and other documents to ensure the completeness and accuracy of documents.
* Assist with coordinating and arranging meetings, conferences, programs, and other events.
* Contribute to a team effort and accomplish related results as required
* Perform Receptionist duties as needed or requested.

Skills:

Essential:
* Knowledge of applicable Tribal, State, and Federal Compliance Regulations including knowledge of the State Tribal Gaming Compact
* Knowledge, experience, and skills operating a personal computer with word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs in a windows environment pertaining to leasing/various real estate information
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Skill in using business English, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic math.
* Skill in administrative practices, records management, and basic accounting procedures.
* Ability to read, understand and comprehend financial reports.

Education Requirement - Or A Closely Related Field:

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* Associates Degree in Business Administration
* A Combination of Experience and Education May Be Considered
Nonessential:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration

Credentials:

Essential:
* Driver's License Personal Vehicle
* Insurance Required


Working conditions:

Essential:
* Must be an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation
* Office setting
* Moderate noise level
* Must be able to move around in an office setting for meetings, customer walk-ins, operate office machines, etc

Must be willing and able to obtain additional related education and training.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
