After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Summary:

Prepare, process, and manage Land Management's lease portfolio according to established policies and procedures and applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. This position is responsible for all communication with lessees.


Responsibilities:

* Assist with the development and communication of department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, and ordinances.
* Establish, update, and implement policies and procedures for commercial, agricultural, and storage leasing.
* Execute, modify, or cancel accurate leases according to established policies and procedures and in compliance with the Leasing Law, Code of Federal Regulations, and other applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
* Meet with prospective lessees to obtain and provide information regarding leasing of properties.
* Monitor lease terms and conditions and ensure lessee compliance.
* Practice excellent customer service skills for internal and external customers.
* Maintain effective filing systems of leasing documentation.
* Enter and approve data from various documents into the Bureau of Indian Affairs Trust Accounts Asset Management System (TAAMS) modules.
* Contribute to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.

Skills:

Essential:
* Ability to carry out instructions furnished in verbal or written format
* Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and basic math

Essential:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business
* Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies, Gen*
* Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate

Must be willing and able to obtain additional related education and training.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
